The Sunday Salon series in Lavatersaal, Zürich is an offering filled with live music, poetry recitation, and story telling that are based on the experience we share together as human beings who are going through similar situations in life. This shared identity gives all of us a stronger sense of community and culture. The goal of our series is to break the boundaries between audience and performers by inviting everyone into the conversation of communicative art and making the floor a less formal and more interactive space for sharing.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

YILAN ZHAO
As the funder and artistic director of the Sunday Salon, Yilan Zhao's stage presence was never confined in the realm of pianist. Her versatile experience on stage led her to create the "Sunday Salon" concert series in Zurich in 2022. She curates and hosts the concerts.
